Comparison of two measurement devices for obtaining horizontal force-velocity profile variables during sprint running

چکیده

This study established the magnitude of systematic bias and random error horizontal force-velocity (F-v) profile variables obtained from a 1080 Sprint compared to that Stalker ATS II radar device. Twenty high-school athletes an American football training group completed 30 m sprint while two devices simultaneously measured velocity-time data. The data were modelled by exponential equation fitting process then used calculate individual F-v profiles related (theoretical maximum velocity, theoretical force, slope linear profile, peak power, time constant tau, maximal velocity). determining 95% limits agreement (random error) for all variables, both which expressed as percentages mean value. All values within 6.32%, with reporting higher velocity. Random was lowest velocity-based but exceeded 7% others, being greatest at ±12.3%. These results provide practitioners information necessary determine if between is acceptable context their specific application.

A simple method for measuring power, force, velocity properties, and mechanical effectiveness in sprint running.

This study aimed to validate a simple field method for determining force- and power-velocity relationships and mechanical effectiveness of force application during sprint running. The proposed method, based on an inverse dynamic approach applied to the body center of mass, estimates the step-averaged ground reaction forces in runner's sagittal plane of motion during overground sprint accelerati...

Comparison of Ground Reaction Force Components during Running with Running Shoes and Control Shoes in Individuals with Genu Varum

Introduction: Running poses an essential role in maintaining cardiovascular health. However, it has been demonstrated that 2.5 to 38 injuries per 1,000 hours of running can occur. The purpose of this study was to investigate ground reaction forces components during running with running shoes compared to control shoes in individuals with genu varum. Methods: This study was laboratory and semi-e...

Relationship between lower limbs kinematic variables and effectiveness of sprint during maximum velocity phase.

PURPOSE The aim of the study was to determine the relationships between time of running over a 15-25 m section of a 30-meter run along a straight line and changes in the angle and angular velocity observed in ankle, knee and hip joints. Therefore, the authors attempted to answer the question of whether a technique of lower limbs movement during the phase of sprint maximum velocity significantly...
